Items needed:

Vase of ice water

Running hot tap water

Scissors or flower shears

Wilted, pitiful looking hydrangea

I’m constantly saving hydrangeas for friends who think their stems have no hope. Wanted to share here how to shock a hydrangea.

Photos in order of directions: 1) run hot water, 2) cut stem under hot water then leave freshly cut stem under hot water for another 20 to 25 seconds, 3) stick hydrangea stem in ice cold water.

So many choices!

While we pride ourselves on custom orders, we frequently post photos of all created arrangements.  Here’s what is being loved the most and repeatedly ordered.
